There are so many things missing that in order to piece them together, either you will need to make stuff up, or approximate to the best of your ability. That's history.

There are so many things happening at the same time that a convergence of any of these events will shape you for the better (or the worse), giving credence to your worth as a person. That's destiny.

There are so many things going on inside this wretch I proudly call life, constantly at odds with one another, unable to decide on a common end and forced to fight until one falls and one stands victorious. That's agony.

In short, this blog tries to capture all of those and synthesize it into a coherent line of thought. It may get outmoded once in a while, but its aura will always entice those who take interest in the ramblings of a single person and the way he sees life, one day at a time.

This is me, and me alone. If life wants to put me in a compromising position, there is always one place I can run to.

This is what I call my home.

Okay, so now you have a glimpse of what the blog is about. But what about the blogger behind the blog? Well, here's a snapshot for you.

I'm Joshua Lim, from Manila, but a son of Pittsburgh.

I'm 18, lost and disillusioned, but sane enough to go on.

I have proven to the world that green and maroon make blue, since my parents, both alumni of DLSU and UP Diliman respectively, are sending their son to Ateneo.

I have a very big soft spot for music, and will do anything legal to get an album if I want it, particularly if it is important, catchy or strikes a chord.

I'm smart, but not too smart, and that's the way I like it.

I discern as a debater, but my personality is a tenuous mish-mash of that of a proverbial nerd, loud-mouthed smartass and disillusioned musician (who sings but can't strive to play the guitar).

I have no subculture, but the call to be emo is strong (and if I heed it, I face condemnation from my best friend) as a result of my sympathy to those who were victimized in Mexico last year.

I try my best to tip the line if I have to, but the call to non-conformity is strong in a strongly conformist society, where the rules must never be broken, or you will suffer.

But enough with all the "I" stuff. This is me right here, in snapshot form.
